Studio of Books proudly showcased Serguei Melnik’s book titled, “The Road to Kilimanjaro,” during the 2025 Bologna Children’s Book Fair at Bologna Italy on March 31 to April 3, 2025 at Bologna, Italy.

Serguei Melnik is a serial entrepreneur with experience in bringing companies public. Originally from Moldova, Serguei grew up behind the Iron Curtain, moving to Florida for business school. He has worked with a wide range of companies. Currently, he is the President and Chairman of Nutriband Inc. (NASDAQ: NTRB) a biotech company.

Born in the early days of Moldova’s democracy, Serguei Melnik grew up embracing challenges. As a law student, he made a promise with a friend: once they earned a million dollars, they would climb Mount Kilimanjaro together. That mountain became more than just a goal—it became a symbol for every obstacle he would face on his journey.
From being swindled by dishonest partners, to starting over with nothing in the U.S., to building a family and a business, Serguei’s story is one of perseverance, intuition, and integrity. His journey proves that no matter how steep the climb, staying true to your values can lead to real success.
Woven throughout is the spirit of Vladimir Vysotsky’s poem “Song About a Friend,” a tribute to loyalty, trust, and determination—qualities that Serguei leaned on throughout his life and career.
