Sharon Lee Myers’ masterpiece, “Oak, Crow, and Star: A Tale of Magical Friendships,” was featured in the April 27th issue of The New York Times Book Review (NYTBR) Magazine of 2025.
The New York Times Book Review (NYTBR), a weekly paper magazine supplement to the Sunday edition of The New York Times (an American daily newspaper with a global audience estimated at 6 million paid digital subscribers in 2020), reviews current fiction and non-fiction books. It is among the most renowned and important book reviews in the industry.
Sharon Lee has written many short stories and poems which she shares with her family and friends. “Oak, Crow and Star: A Tale of Magical Friendships” is her first book.
When she is not writing, she enjoys painting landscapes and tending to her flower gardens. She and her husband reside in a cozy village in central New York.
This charming book was highly praised by Michael Radon of the US Review of Books, acknowledging that “With its strong themes of supporting loved ones and using the skills that one has to help others in need, this book can be used by parents and children to discuss how they can make as much of an impact on each other as Oak, Crow, and Star do. The morals contained herein can make a lasting, positive impression.”
