For creators and publishers alike, it’s a place where imagination meets opportunity.
Being part of the Book Gallery at Bologna was a proud moment for Studio of Books. It provided a valuable platform to share a thoughtfully curated selection of titles with a global audience of readers, educators, and publishing professionals.
This international showcase not only highlighted the creativity and heart behind each book, but also opened the door to new opportunities, connections, and collaborations across borders—bringing fresh stories to life for children and families around the world.
William F. Covey is an electrician, doctor and author. He currently resides in Santa Clarita, California. Although this book is pure fiction, Covey hopes humans will eventually make their number one priority managing their technological progress so they will stop poisoning the earth on a daily basis.
He believes that if the humans do not start taking better care of earth’s ecological system, they will have to pay a very costly price to repair earth’s ability to nourish and reproduce life as we know it.
In “Desolation: Part One,” the spirit world delivers a dire warning to three unlikely messengers from different corners of the globe—a Hopi woman, an Aboriginal man, and a Rabbi. Brought together by divine guidance, they’re tasked with sharing a powerful message: Earth is on the brink of a global catastrophe.
The first spark comes from a thermonuclear war between India and China, driven by greed. But that’s just the beginning. A chain reaction, set off by mankind’s reckless use of science and technology, begins to reshape the planet itself.
As the earth teeters on the edge of desolation, Sarah, Yirawala, and Rabbi Raboy must try to awaken humanity to what’s coming—before it’s too late. This is the first book in the Desolation trilogy, setting the stage for Mother Earth’s transformation and eventual rebirth in the volumes that follow.
